N-type Module Technology
Compared with P-type products, N-type panels applied with different doping technology make the amount of power loss less. The significantly increased 2-sided factor and optimized operating temperature also result in higher performance. Calculating the LCOE value shows a marked reduction compared to traditional P-type panels.N-type duplex batteries produce 2.52% more power than P-type duplex modules mainly because of higher bifacial factor (89% vs 72%)
Benefits of panels with integrated N-type . technology

Jinko's N-Type cells have a conversion efficiency of up to 24.90%
Recently, early 2021 JinkoSolar has set a new record conversion efficiency of 24.90% for TOPCon N-type monocrystalline silicon cells which have been independently verified by the Solar Research Institute in Hamelin ( ISFH), Germany.Jinko previously achieved a record solar Cell conversion efficiency of 24.79% for its N-class TOPCon, also verified by ISFH in June 2020.
Jin Hao, CTO said, “In the future, JinkoSolar will continue to take on the role of driving industry change, focusing on rapidly improving solar panel products with cutting-edge technology to drive development. High quality of solar industry
In January 2019, JinkoSolar reported 24.2% conversion efficiency for a large area TOPCon N-Type cell that was approved by the Wind Power and Photovoltaic System Quality Inspection Center at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. (CAS) verification.
The company highlighted the continued advancements of HOT cell design, based on passive oxide contact technology and selective doping deployment and advanced fine line printing, among other innovations.
To achieve the latest 24.90% conversion efficiency record, JinkoSolar notes the use of a 'high-quality, low-defective CZ mono-Si substrate' as well as an 'enhanced diffusion' process with 'high quality' high-activated doping' and 'high-quality surface passivation. '
JinkoSolar also notes the use of highly conductive passive contact technologies, and a variety of innovative technologies and material upgrades are also incorporated into the cell.
JinkoSolar's N-Type Batteries also achieved a record efficiency of 23.01%
After the N-type cells broke records, the company's latest developed N-type monocrystalline panels were tested by the authorized third-party organization TÜV Rheinland. In fact, Jinko's N-Type modules have achieved a record high conversion efficiency of 23.01%, breaking the previous world record of 22.39% set by JinkoSolar itself in January 2020 .JinkoSolar has achieved this excellence thanks to its industry-leading vertical integration technology. It integrates the company's TOPCon N-type high-efficiency photovoltaic cell technology and the company's high-power-density modular design with advanced packaging and soldering technology to increase the cell's optical absorption. photovoltaic and reduced internal resistance losses, as well as increasing the photovoltaic cell area ratio in the panel, to achieve further breakthroughs in performance while greatly improving the module's aesthetics.
As the world's leading solar module manufacturer, JinkoSolar's R&D team has set a world record twice in a short period of time. This once again proves that JinkoSolar always focuses on technological innovation and leads the solar power industry through technical bottlenecks. JinkoSolar Chief Technology Officer said, “JinkoSolar will continue to accelerate R&D investment in high-performance photovoltaic cell technology, with a particular focus on laboratory research results that can be mass-produced on a global basis. high-quality and fast production lines, and constantly improving the technical level of the industry to create products that are efficient, reliable, and deliver greater value to customers."
