Main structure of grid-tied solar power system without storage:

- 2-way electricity meter (measures the amount of electricity consumed from the national grid and excess solar power generated to the national grid)

Grid-tie solar power system with storage
The storage system is similar to the non-storage grid connected power system. However, there is an additional battery storage system. For important equipment that needs a stable and continuous power source such as CCTV, alarms, fire alarms, internet, computers, etc. or for the full system load (for special requirements only).
