The Vietnam Renewable Energy Community organizes a Caravan journey towards the Central region

The Caravan Journey is an annual activity of the Vietnam Renewable Energy Community, held for the first time in 2019 with the journey to Binh Thuan, towards the sea and islands of the Fatherland. Caravan Vietnam Renewable Energy Community 2020 has the participation of more than 30 members and businesses in the Community from three regions of the country North - Central - South and with the companionship of many journalists working at newspapers. Tuoi Tre, Business Forum, Vietnam Television Station (VTV), Ho Chi Minh City Television Station (HTV), Binh Thuan Province Newspaper and Television Station.

During this year's Caravan journey, businesses in the Vietnam Renewable Energy Community next to their homeland look to the sea and islands with practical actions such as supporting scholarships for studious students for the children of soldiers on duty. services in the sea and islands and fishermen clinging to the sea, and towards the loving Central region, which is suffering a lot of damage due to storms, flash floods... Specifically, after just over a month of campaigning, businesses in the Community have raised a total more than 350 million VND for the flood victims in the Central region, and 100 million VND in kind for border guards protecting the sea and islands. In addition, the Union also contributed to study promotion funds totaling 50,000 USD. The delegation also presented many meaningful gifts such as giving 2,000 national flags to fishermen under the program "One million flags for fishermen", giving fishermen in Tuy Phong district 700 trash cans to sort waste. in response to the movement to reduce ocean plastic waste, protect the clean and beautiful environment.

During the Caravan journey, the delegation also visited and learned experience in developing, constructing and operating renewable energy projects such as Dai Phong Wind Power Plant; visit Phong Phu Solar Power Farm, Phu Lac Wind Power Farm.
